power cable with concentric conductor /(N2XCY)
This type of cable with XLPE layer has less dielectric losses and is used to control remote control circuits or telemetry circuits in gas pressure boosting or reducing stations, high pressure substations and power plants. The same center can be used as an earth protection conductor or as a shield. Also, the presence of XLPE insulation in this cable increases the thermal resistance of the cable compared to PVC.
